The past and present come together to affect the future in here and it has demons, other world invasion.

The MC uses spear as his weapon and the novel is full of glorious moments where the MC defeat people and like a whole galaxy or a realm is watching him, from the foundlings to the old-timers.

I'm going to be biased because this is the novel that started it all for me. When I look back at the nights I read this novel on my phone I can't help but want to go back. (I once went an entire day without sleep just to read this.)

The story is honestly great, and most things that are detractors for me like vague cultivation, unclear abilities and even repetition are extremely diluted. The way the plot comes together though world building is something I never noticed because it was my first CN, however now having read several more CNs, I find it amazing.

While writing this I'm thinking back to several arc's in the story and I get excited just remembering them. The author also has a knack for writing emotionally thought-provoking chapters.

I believe one of the authors strengths is setting the tone of an arc or a chapter, especially when he wants it to get darker or more mysterious. He knows how to build up that feeling of uncertainty.

One of the fun parts of this novel are the power/abilities which come in a lot of variety is pretty amazing.

I genuinely believe that if this novel could do well in America.

The best xianxia novel, period.

All the characters are developed, not just MC and friends, unlike other novels where there's either bureaucratic, stuck-up elders and "heavenly geniuses" which are in reality brats who seem to want nothing more than to defeat MC.

Lin Ming starts off as a teenager with absolutely nothing but the magic cube, and while most of his character development occurs within 200 chapters of encountering the magic cube, it's still a pleasure to watch him grow both in cultivation and in intelligence (especially around chapter 1900!).

While the magic cube is definitely an overpowered trump card in many cases, Lin Ming still has to rely on his own wits and strength to progress as he attracts the attention of greater and greater powers, until he becomes notorious throughout the known multiverse.

I've sacrificed grades, sleep, mental health, and much much more to finish this novel within less than two months, and boy, was it worth it.
